Kilikgronja (ENGLISH)

Kilikgronja, the land of the Cyclops. Known in the past as noble and proud beings loyal to their Goddess Gronja. Gronja love them so much she gave them her blessings, therefore they would be able to see the future. However after Ragnarok and Gronja’s disappearance this blessing became a curse.

 The Cyclops still possessed those clairvoyant’s powers but slowly they went insane, tormented by those visions. Many decided to isolated themselves, mitigating their sufferings. However, the “Call of Gronja” still affects them through their lives.

 When they reach a certain point of maturity, the Cyclops became extremely savages and lost control. This event is very dangerous if someone is close to it, even more if we take into account that Cyclops never stop growing and a late call can affect a huge and overwhelming specimen. It is said the origin of this huge Cyclops can be found in the wastelands on Pythia and that are used in Hamuset as pack animals.

Nowadays, Kilikgronja, The tit of Gronja, is a lonely and sad land. Close to the mountain, the old Cyclops Settlements and their old capital city of Mahaur are abandoned most of the time as they wander their homeland waiting for the Call. They almost spent no time with their fellow Cyclops. When they go crazy (also called as the 2^nd phase) their biggest effort is to climb the Great Mountain. No one knows why.

They’ve got good relationships, though sporadic, with the Salinos, nomads living around the Great Mountain but closer to the sea. This nomads flee from Hamuset, on the north, always in need of slaves.

Their future is uncertain. They’ve got no motivations more than live their lives as calm as possible. Still, thanks to technological improvements some of them have travel to other countries as fighters, attractions, workers but mainly in pursue of knowledge to end their curse. Many think this is an error as they discover how the Call of Gronja alienate their minds.

Kilikgronja es la tierra de los cíclopes, antaño nobles criaturas orgullosas y fieles a la diosa Gronja. Gronja les amaba y quiso darles su bendición, poder ver el futuro, pero tras el Ragnarok y la desaparición de Gronja el don se convirtió en una maldición.

Los cíclopes aún poseían cierto poder para predecir sucesos cercanos pero poco a poco se volvieron locos, al parecer atormentados por esas visiones. Muchos decidieron aislarse y volverse criaturas solitarias. Esto atenuó el sufrimiento, pero “La llamada de Gronja” seguía afectándoles en un momento u otro de sus vidas.

Al llegar cierto momento de su madurez, los cíclopes se vuelven extremadamente salvajes y pierden el control sobre sí mismos. Este suceso es muy peligroso si hay alguien cerca, más teniendo en cuenta que los cíclopes no dejan de crecer en ningún momento de su vida por lo que una locura tardía puede afectar a un ejemplar de un tamaño aterrador. Se rumorea que es el origen de los enormes ciclopes que se pueden encontrar en el yermo de Pythia y que utilizan en Hamuset como bestias de carga.

Hoy por hoy, Kilikgronja ("la teta de Gronja") es una tierra triste y solitaria. Al pie de la enorme montaña de más de 12.000 metros, los asentamientos cíclopes y la antigua capital Mahaur están abandonados la mayor parte del tiempo ya que los cíclopes deambulan por sus tierras esperando la llamada, relacionándose lo menos posible con sus congéneres. Cuando se vuelven locos (o pasan al estadio dos) su mayor afán es llegar a lo más alto de la Gran montaña…nadie sabe aún por qué.

También tienen buenas, aunque esporádicas, relaciones con los Salinos, nómadas asentados en los alrededores de la Gran montaña pero más cercanos a la costa. Estos nómadas huyen del yugo de Hamuset, al norte, siempre ávida de esclavos.

El futuro de los cíclopes es incierto. No tienen motivaciones más allá de vivir sus vidas lo más tranquilos posible. Aun así, gracias al avance de la tecnología, algunos han viajado a otros países como luchadores, atracción exótica, trabajadores...pero sobre todo movidos por la necesidad de conocimiento para terminar con su maldición. Muchos piensan que eso es un error y muchos descubren que es así cuando “La llamada de Gronja” enajena la mente de sus amados hijos.
